Very pleased to announce the availability of a new aftermarket replacement ground glass shade solution for Linhof Technika 2x3 / 6x9 format cameras. 

This shade is for the Technika IV/V 2x3 format cameras.

A simple but complex operation, the material fitment controls the hinge spring action. It is much nicer when the shade stands up properly allowing for an unobstructed view.

The original Linhof shades were great and very well made, but some older cameras are now 20-50+ years in age, so wear & tear occurs.

Some photographers will purchase new complete GG shade backs, for others this is a new solution.

After obsessively sampling many materials and spending countless hours perfecting, we have a new solution that is much better than current aftermarket Chinese nylon shade. 

Our shade is crisp, matches the original aesthetics well and does not have the strong chemical odor (which never goes away) like the Chinese nylon shades. 

Complete original Linhof Ground Glass shades are to be mailed in for custom fitting of a new shade.  Turn around time is approx 1-2 weeks depending on workload.
